No, at this time all groups are non-auditioned. Triangle Pride Band takes great pride in having performance groups that accommodate most skill levels and are accessible to working professionals.
Symphonic Band currently rehearses on Sunday nights, Jazz Band and Chorus rehearse on Thursday nights.
What to expect before rehearsal?
You will receive emails from artistic directors and section leaders before rehearsal starts, please feel free to reach out to them or with the button below if you have any questions. They will share music links, part assignments, and other important information.
What if I haven’t played my instrument in years?
DO NOT STRESS!
We are accepting and accommodating to most skill levels. Pickup that instrument and join us, it’ll come back quicker than you thought. Members are encouraged to bring fingering or position charts and ask your neighbor for help.
We don’t make mistakes – we have happy accidents!
We operate on a cycle based registration system. There are generally three cycles per year for each group. Sign up for email alerts to be notified when registration is available. Please note that Symphonic Band is limited to the first 150 musicians to register, and Jazz Band is currently closed to new members.

Registration is still open for Marching Band for the summer cycle! Join us for the TPB 10th Anniversary Concert!
Registration has closed for Symphonic Band and Chorus, but another cycle will begin in the fall. Check back in late summer for registration info!
