Triangle Pride Chorus
Welcome to our Chorus!
The Triangle Pride Chorus is a community music program designed to provide opportunities for musicianship, community building, and advocacy for the LGBTQIA+ community in the Triangle area of North Carolina, under the umbrella of the Triangle Pride Band organization. The Triangle Pride Band holds two commitments: (1) to create a space for musicians to perform and rehearse high-quality music, and (2) to uplift and create safe spaces for socialization and community-building in the LGBTQIA+ community.

Can I still join if the registration is closed?
- No. The Triangle Pride Chorus typically rehearses and performs in three cycles each year. Registration opens about a month before the first rehearsal of each cycle. It usually closes the evening of the first rehearsal. To stay informed about upcoming registration dates, we recommend subscribing to our newsletter (scroll down below and you’ll see our newsletter sign up) and following us on social media.
When is rehearsal
- Currently, we are rehearsing on Thursdays from 6:30pm-8:30pm in the Raleigh area near the Crabtree Mall.
Do I need to audition?
- No, at this time our Chorus is non-auditioned. Triangle Pride Band organization takes great pride in having performance groups that accommodate most skills level and are accessible to working professionals.
What if I haven't sung in a while?
- DO NOT STRESS… We are accepting and accommodating to most skill levels. The Triangle Pride Chorus welcomes singers of all experience levels. Whether you’re new to choral singing, unsure of your voice part, or navigating a vocal transition, this is a supportive space to grow your skills, explore your voice, and experience the joy of singing together. No prior experience is required-just a love of music and a willingness to learn. And remember… Just. Have. FUN.
Our History
Since the chorus’ inception in 2024, the group has been a space that supports and welcomes singers of all gender identities and voice types– especially singers who may be trans, nonbinary, gender-queer, or questioning.
Spring of 2025 marked the beginning of the Triangle Pride Chorus as a core ensemble within the Triangle Pride Band, and Annie Roncolato as the director. The ensemble sings a broad range of genres including poop, classical, broadway, and contemporary works. Their performances showcase their collaborative pianist Eileen Snyder, instrumentalists from within the chorus, and incredible musicians from other Triangle Pride Band ensembles.
