Who we are...
The Triangle Pride Jazz Band is a member band of the larger Triangle Pride Band organization. Formed in January of 2023, our inaugural year has been met with great applause and kudos. We pride ourselves in bringing LGBTQ and ally musicians together to practice and perform Big Band Jazz that delights and engages our audiences.
Founded in 2016, Triangle Pride Band is an LGBTQ and ally community band program in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area of North Carolina. We welcome all interested adults (18+), regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, age, or ability, to join us in lifting up our community through music!
Hiring New Jazz Director!
The Triangle Pride Band (TPB), a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to creating an inclusive, affirming musical space for LGBTQ+ individuals and allies, is seeking an Associate Artistic Director for our community Jazz Band. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with talented musicians in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Can I still join if the registration form is closed?
No. If our form is closed then it will stay closed until the next cycle! Please subscribe to our newsletter or social medias to stay updated!
What if I haven't played my instrument in years?
DO NOT STRESS… We are accepting and accommodating to most skill levels. JUST. HAVE. FUN.
Do I need to audition
It depends. Currently, our Jazz Band is opened to all, but that can change depending on our director of Jazz.
When is rehearsal?
Currently, we are rehearsing on Thursdays from 6:30PM-8:30PM in Downtown Raleigh.
